Chosen Foods

Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Chosen Foods and Matter Films collaborated to create three docu-style videos. Chosen Foods is a company that celebrates the connection between people, food, and the planet. In this spirit, each video is a celebration of Mexican heritage and makers.

The first video features a third-generation hat maker who celebrates his heritage through hand-crafted wearable art. The second is centered on a chef who shares food as her love language and brings her heritage to the table through the meals she creates. Lastly, Matter produced a short biography about the founder of Sesajal and partner of Chosen Foods, Jose Luis Gonzalez Inigo. The video shares his background and tells the story of how he began with Chosen Foods Avocado Oil.

Additionally, Matter produced an array of lively photographs to accompany the video series.
